We have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Interior Design Practice category of the coveted 2023 Northern Design Awards and in the Residential Budget Up to £50,000 category of the SBID International Design Awards.
Having received a record number of entries, the 21st edition of the annual Northern Design Awards, the north of England’s premier design and architecture competition, recognises excellence in both the residential and commercial sectors, bringing together designers, retailers and property developers to celebrate Northern design and style.
In addition, we have had two projects shortlisted in the SBID International Design Awards Residential Budget Up To £50,000, the leading global awards for interior design.
When I founded AMC Design in 2014, my goal was to create beautiful interiors which reflect the life and interest of each home and its inhabitants. Focusing primarily on residential projects, the team and I specialise in mixing colour, pattern and texture with effective use of space to transform homes and encourage clients to be brave with their creative choices.
As part of our applications, we submitted recently completed projects which span iconic architectural periods, including a cool and vibrant 1960s family home, a stylish Victorian townhouse update for a growing family, and a heritage apartment modernisation full of colour and character.
We are thrilled to be recognised by both the Northern Design Awards and the SBID International Design Awards communities. The north of England has its own unique style and flair, and we are so excited to have reached the finals in what has been a very competitive year of design talent. We want to thank the judges for their time and commitment to our industry and wish our categories peers the best of luck.
The winners of the SBID International Design Awards will be announced on 3rd November, whilst the Northern Design Awards come to a close on 16th November.
